Oggi vi racconto di Beatrice Mezzanotte.

Prima di raccontarvi del suo marchio, voglio proprio raccontarvi di lei: ho incontrato e “scoperto” Beatrice allo scorso Pitti Bimbo. Avevo visto ogni tanto di sfuggita i suoi splendidi gioielli sul web, in particolare su Yoox, ma forse un po’ grossolanamente o forse perchè andavo (ma dai?) di corsa non ne avevo colto l’essenza.

Poi l’ho incontrata nel suo stand al Pitti: gentile, simpatica, col sorriso, mi ha illustrato e spiegato la sua collezione. Ed allora ho compreso il significato profondo che può nascondersi dietro ad un oggetto, in questo caso ad un gioiello.

Today I tell you about Beatrice Mezzanotte.

Before telling about her brand, I just want to tell you about her: I met and “discovered” Beatrice during last Pitti Bimbo. I had seen occasionally her beautiful jewelry on the web, especially on Yoox, but perhaps a little grossly or maybe because I was so hurry I had not grasped the essence.

Beatrice impersona inoltre un modello di donna che amo: è rock e chic al tempo stesso, ha lo sguardo pulito ed appassionato, è una vera mumpreneur… lei, che dopo anni da designer per brand d’alta gioielleria, ha voluto conciliare maternità e creatività puntando soprattutto sul legame più forte e unico al mondo: quello mamma-bambino.

BeA legami preziosi è il suo marchio e già il logo spiega il concept del brand: due volti che si guardano, uno grande ed uno piccino, che formano un cuore stilizzato. Bene, BeA ha creato una bella collana d’ambra, da poter usare assolutamente anche dopo la dentizione! Ogni pezzo delle collezioni BeA è “unico”: viene disegnato su carta, poi realizzato in cera con una stampante 3D e infine lavorato a mano smussando, ammorbidendo, assottigliando finché le forme non trasformano in “oggetto” l’idea della designer; la realizzazione finale è poi affidata a un laboratorio orafo di Arezzo con cui Beatrice ha costruito nel tempo una vera e propria partnership. Creatività, artigianalità ed emozioni forti… un esempio di quel famoso Made in Italy tanto apprezzato nel mondo.

Each piece of the collection BeA is “unique”: it is drawn on paper, then made of wax with a 3D printer and finally handmade smoothing, softening, thinning until the forms become the “object” in the idea of the designer; the final realization is then assigned to a goldsmith of Arezzo with which Beatrice has built over time a true partnership. Creativity, craftsmanship and strong emotions .. an example of that famous Made in Italy so appreciated in the world.
