Ma per i bambini? In linea di massima non amo il nero per i bambini. Le ragioni sono molteplici: anzitutto credo che l’infanzia sia (e debba essere) colore. Come sinonimo di gioia di vivere. Il colore è quello che i nostri occhi apprezzano di questo (tanto bistrattato) Mondo: dal blu del mare al rosso del tramonto, verde delle foreste, il giallo di un limone, i variopinti colori di una farfalla o di un fiore tropicale.

Amo il bello, da sempre: mi piacciono le cose belle, di classe ma non necessariamente di lusso, ed ho una sorta di fiuto e di sesto senso nel riconoscerle. Fiuto il ristorante più carino, l’hotel più particolare, il museo per pochi, la vista speciale, l’abito con il dettaglio… nei viaggi mio marito chiede sempre “Ti ispira?” e solo quando il mio sesto senso dice di sì, scegliamo. Per me il bello senza colore difficilmente sarebbe tale e spesso mi soffermo a pensare che probabilmente uno dei sensi più importanti è proprio la vista.

Questa lunga premessa per raccontarvi che normalmente non scelgo il nero per Sissi. A ben pensarci ha davvero pochissimi capi neri o grigio scurissimo. Cerco di evitare anche il rosa baby, distinzione di genere più comune e scontata (tra l’altro usata ed abusata quando Sissi era neonata per zittire chi, fermandoci per strada, commentava “Che bel bambino”), anche se poi devo ammettere che con una t-shirt rosa sta molto bene…

Il look di oggi però mi piace davvero: il nero è smorzato dal bianco, ancora una volta opposti che si attraggono e si smorzano a vicenda. Il bianco sfacciatamente immacolato ed il nero di tenebra si uniscono e si compensano nella blusa di Bonpoint, acquistata a Parigi (vi ho mostrato lo shopping parigino su Periscope, ricordate?). Abbiniamo i leggings molto casual, con le toppe a contrasto sulle ginocchia, di Soft Gallery.

Per le scarpe, avevamo inizialmente scelto i sandali di Zecchino d’Oro, che Sissi adora… ma che dulcis in fundo ha deciso di sostituire con le sneakers fucsia di Mini Rodini… la motivazione? Dobbiamo andare in monopattino e poi… sono fucsia! Come vedete, alla fine, il colore vince sempre.[/one_half] [one_half_last]But for kids? In principle I do not like black for children. The reasons are many: first of all I believe that childhood is (and should be) color. As synonymous with joie de vivre. Color is what our eyes appreciate of this (much-maligned) World: the blue of the sea, a red sunset, green forests, the yellow of a lemon, the many colors of a butterfly or a tropical flower.

I love beauty, always: I like beautiful things, classy but not necessarily luxurious, and I have a sort of sense of smell and sixth sense to recognize them. Sniffing the nicer restaurant, the best hotel, museums, special views, a dress with a special detail… when travelling my husband always asks “Are you inspired?” and only when my sixth sense says yes, we choose. For me the beauty without color would be difficult and so often I stop to think that probably one of the most important sense is the view.

This long introduction to tell you that normally I do not choose black for Sissi. She really has very few black or dark gray garments. I try to avoid even the baby pink, because of the most common and obvious gender distinction (used and abused when Sissi was a baby to silence those who, stopping us, commented “What a beautiful babyboy”), even though I must admit that with a pink t-shirt she is very pretty …

However, I really like the look of today: the black is diluted by white and once again that opposites attract and dampen each other. The immaculate brazenly white and that black of darkness come together and make up the blouse of Bonpoint, purchased in Paris (I showed you on Periscope our Parisian shopping, do you remember?). We combine very casual leggings, with patches on the knees in contrast, from Soft Gallery.

For shoes, we originally chose sandals from Zecchino d’Oro, that Sissi really loves … but suddenly she decided to replace them with the fuchsia sneakers from Mini Rodini … motivation? We have to go on the scooter and then they are fuchsia! As you can see, in the end, color always wins.
