Duccio è uno sterilizza-ciuccio portatile, compatto, sicuro ed igienico, che sterilizza grazie alla tecnologia UV in soli 3 minuti sia il corpo del ciuccio che la tettarella. Funziona con l’alimentatore (fornito nella confezione) o con 3 pile AAA ministilo (molto utile in viaggio o in auto).

Per chi è scettico su questo tipo di sterilizzazione, meno comune nel quotidiano perchè siamo abituati agli sterilizzatori a vapore (elettrici o da microonde), vi assicuro (parola di ingegnere!) che la sterilizzazione UV è una metodologia ampiamente utilizzata nella depurazione delle acque o dell’aria, nella disinfezione degli strumenti utilizzati negli studi medici o estetici, ed ha un’efficacia garantita al 99,9% (e se non vi fidate della mia parola di ing., potete sempre leggere Wikipedia!). Al termine del ciclo di disinfezione, una melodia avvisa che il ciuccio è pronto!

[one_half_last]Duccio is a sterilizer for pacifiers, portable, compact, safe and hygienic, which sterilizes thanks to UV technology in 3 minutes both the body and the nipple of the pacifier. It works with the adapter (included in the box) or 3 AAA batteries (very useful on the road or in the car).

For those who are skeptical about this type of sterilization, less common in daily life because we are used to steam sterilizers (electric or microwave), I assure you (as an engineer!) that the UV sterilization is a method widely used in water or air purification, in the disinfection of the instruments used in medical or aesthetic centers, and has a  guaranteed efficacy of 99.9% (and if you do not trust my word as an engineer, you can always read Wikipedia!). Lo trovo estremamente comodo per gli spostamenti: non si deve riempire d’acqua, non c’è bisogno di una presa di corrente, è universale. Magari non entrerà in una clutch, ma diciamocelo: quale mamma uscirebbe con bimbo al seguito e SOLO una clutch? Entrerà perfettamente nella vostra shopping bag, tote bag o in un bagaglio a mano per l’aereo.

Questo Duccio è assolutamente rinnovato rispetto alla versione precedente ed ha subito un upgrade tecnologico: migliori materiali, migliori componenti, miglior assemblaggio.

[one_half_last]I find it extremely convenient for travel: it should not be filled with water, there is no need of a power source, it is universal. It may not enter into a clutch, but let’s face it: what mother would come out with baby with ONLY a clutch? It will go perfectly in your shopping bag, tote bag or in a carry-on bag for the plane.
