How to dress children in summer: unisex kids outfit
How to dress children in summer? The question is not about the outfit itself as high temperatures allow very few options: light fabrics, natural, which possibly not make our children sweat too much. But this is not always completely true…
Even in summer there are cool evenings, when you go for aperitivo to the mountain or if you travel abroas in northern Countries (for sure less hot tha Italy): so we begin to do some testing for back to school’s outfits with new purchases made during the summer sales.
A family night, where we really experienced hygge, thanks to an aperitivo in a cool terrace bar, that suddenly became a dinner party. Sissi and I chose a unisex outfit, the most classic of classics: jeans and white t-shirt, with white sneakers.
Too obvious? Nooooo! Each piece of this unisex outfit has a feature that doesn’t make it so normal as you might have guessed. That’s why white t-shirt depicts King Karl himself, listening to music with his Choupette: of course we’re talking about Karl Lagerfeld Kids. The details we like even more? The stitching with silver thread!
Jeans are from Vingino, a Dutch brand that I followed for a while and I’ve discovered better thanks to the last Pitti Bimbo: what I love, as a mother, it’s the fit, really nice for my super skinny girl. Sissi loves the softness of this model, which doesn’t stop her motions, and make her looking like a big girl. A winning item (that we will purchase again for sure, also for its good price – around 50/60€).
What about sneakers? They’re from the SS17 collection of Zecchino d’Oro: a made in Italy that I could guarantee personally as I’ve been visiting their factory. Highest quality materials (grain leather) and careful workmanship and craft that make you feel almost the hearts of those who made them and the passion of a company like very few remain in Italy. Leather insole is made for children’s feet, while the rubber outsole provides joyful movements. The cool print with many kittens winks even at most trendy mothers (and kids) and matches well with any outfit.
