GROBAG: BABY SLEEP BAGS REVIEW

Sissi was born at the end of February so at the beginning she slept in the cradle and when she began to use her bed it was already May and she used only  a sheet (that we always found at the bottom of the bed!). Then with the summer… freedom! Conclusion: in September/October, last year, when it was time to use set of sheets with cover, it was impossible! We spent a week getting up at night to check and find her out of the blankets and then to deal with the first colds…

I was a little disappointed because at the end of pregnancy I bought a lot of cute sets of linen/duvet cover /bumper (mainly of this excellent Spanish brand Interbaby and one of Blumarine Baby for which I also spent a fortune…). At the end we decided to buy a sleeping bag …

After examining all the brands and models I was not very convinced because everything I could find was just one type of heaviness while I was convinced that there had to be something that had different thicknesses depending on the season and on the progress of a drop in temperature at night … I thought I’d look for in Northern countries than ours and in the end I found Grobag BABY SLEEP BAG!!

Here is their website http://www.gro-store.co.uk/

I think it’s really well spent money !

Excellent material (they also have versions in organic cotton ), 4 types of weight ( from 0.5 to 3.5 tog ), great variety of sizes (0-6 months , 6-18 months , 18-36 months , 3-6 years , 6 – 10 years) and extraordinary range of designs !

We have always bought online , but I have also seen them at the Baby Store but honestly the prices are much higher than the official website and the choice (of course) less wide .

We also purchased a pair of bed sheets mattress , in excellent cotton, with beautiful elastic edges , the Gro- Egg ( a nice thermometer for the room that doubles also as a small light) , the Gro Anywhere Blind (very useful if you are traveling with a child who hate to sleep with even a minimum glimmer of light ) and Gro -Suit pajamas that have padded sleeves ( useful for those cold nights ) …

OK OK OK we have become great fans , BUT I must say that Sissi was really great with these sleeping bags , all purchases have proven the high quality of these products and now it is time to make new purchases ! She is 20 months and her Grobag size 6-18 months are a little …

Despite the sleeping bags (especially the 2.5 tog ) are padded, when washing they dries very quickly, so I’ll just buy two bags 1.0 tog and two bags 2.5 tog and we’ll be OK until she turns 3 years!
