Val Gardena ready to start safely

Two initiatives have been taken in recent weeks to offer further guarantees. In April, an immunity test against SARS-CoV-2 was carried out, extended to the population, where 962 people aged 6-88 were analysed and 49% tested positive (and therefore immune to the virus), as confirmed by Dr Simon Kostner, who followed the project.

In addition, a survey of 2,251 inhabitants of the valley (about 20% of the residents) was carried out and in this case it was found that over 48.78% had at least three symptoms. A partial immunity of flock, to further safeguard all guests and Valligians.

There are many initiatives by merchants and hoteliers to ensure an even greater level of attention

Hotels prepare activities such as Fast Check-in, differentiated lunch and dinner times, garden breakfasts with baskets and custom hygiene kits.

Many facilities have equipped themselves with ozone machines for sanitization, to render sterile any environment, between one stay and the following. A hotelier in the valley also equipped with ipad every room to order products, dishes, drinks, at any time of the day, from the comfort of their room.

There are also many outdoor initiatives for guests, such as small group trips and trekking with picnic-sized lunch, at the huts, which still have plenty of space available and will also space seats, to allow lunches at the table.

Shops and restaurants have equipped themselves with take-away services and delivery at the accommodation and a restaurant has organized a drive-in service, to order the meal by car.

In addition, all three countries were sanitized with a project by a South Tyrolean company that converted artificial snow cannons into tools to sanitize the whole territory. Starting with the technology used for technical snowmaking, he turned a snow generator into a mobile sanitation system.

In addition to preparing in the best way to protect the health of the people who will visit the valley next summer, the gardeners have worked with passion and dedication throughout the territory

The trails are clean and tidy again, the flowers bloom from every balcony, the shelters, hotels, restaurants, shops are ready to welcome all those who love this valley and want to spend a serene summer period, away from the big urban centers. The whole community is working very hard, to offer an excellent level of hospitality, with great attention to every single detail.

The desire and the desire to leave were also summarized in a campaign entitled #RestartAltoAdigeNOW
