I love beautiful things. For me, but even more for Sissi: I’ve learned that often beautiful it’s not synonymous with well-made, quality, fashion and luxury. In this case, YES. And I’m not talking about a brand of childrenswear, but about a small German brand, from Cologne, which produces handmade accessories for children: from hair brushes to blankets, from dishes to socks, passing through pacifiers. I’m talking about LITOLFF.
I met Ewelina and her husband Philip in Florence at Pitti Bimbo 78, I was already at the end of the day, tired, but passing in front of their stand, I could not pass by. What struck me immediately was the collection of porcelain, with the drawings of ancient times (as Philip‘s grandmother was used to draw), so delicate. The porcelain is high quality, 100% made in Germany, very white, very shiny. Worthy of a princess.
But also the soothers, in rubber, are simple and refined, with its chains.
At that moment, Sissi was still too young for a porcelain dish (even if she never dropped anything and is pretty neat when eating, I never risked!)… But now my little 26-months-old girl would deserve this very beautiful equipment: because good manners are learned at the table, and I think it is very important in the education of our children.
