Bobo Choses, the Spanish indipendent brand will launch today at 11am (CET) SS18 collection entitled “Neverending Summer”.
Bobo Choses SS18 collection Neverending Summer tells a story of a child: Jane climbs up trees and explores her world. Jane is curios, asks many many questions (just like our kids! She looks a lot like Sissi, to me!), she wants to know and learn as much as possible from this world. Her mum calls her for dinner, Jane comes back home thinking about all her adventures and about next day’s exploration.
How many questions can you fit into a neverending summer’s day?
Who is Jane? Jane is Jane Goodall, a British primatologist, ethologist, anthropologist, and UN Messenger of Peace. She is considered the world’s foremost expert on chimpanzees and is known for her over 55-year study of social and family interactions of wild chimpanzees since she first went to Gombe Stream National Park, Tanzania in 1960.
As a child, Jane Goodall was gifted with a chimpanzee cuddly toy. It was named Jubilee. Her love for it was the beginning of her love for animals.
At age four, curious Jane wondered where did eggs come from. She and Jubilee snuck into the henhouse and hid all day long until they observed the miracle. She grew up and her curiosity led her to Gombe, Africa, where she spent her life watching and learning about chimpanzees.
Our Spring Summer 2018 collection Neverending Summer is inspired by Goodall’s life and the never-ending curiosity of children who love to ask questions.
SS18 collection is fresh, full of light both in the prints and in the palette, full of light colors and many shades of blue. The style is vintage, sometimes almost bohemienne. Bobo Choses continues speaking to children with their language with creativity, passion, honesty and sense of humour!
Bobo Choses is improving its environmental commitment by joining ECAP, the European Clothing Action Plan for a more equitable and ecological textile sector. 60% of upcoming SS18 collection is made of organic cotton.
