Our (smart) shopping during 2017 summer sales
There is always a reason for shopping, you know, but if it’s sales season the reasons doubled! We really needed something cool and cute for Sissi to wear during Altaroma fashion shows and events: not an overstated dress, but something different than usual, suitable for a 5 year old girl.

Taking advantage of sales at Nickis.com and of their ultra-fast shipping, I spent a couple of days (really, nights, say it all!) on the website of this wonderful boutique: two days because the brands are so many, all great names, beautiful and reliable brands, and the discounts were really substantial… so after filling carts, empting carts, thought and rethought, we made our purchase!
Obviously, we have taken advantage of the sales to add some other garments, which reflects our usual advice for the sales season: buy sober, buy must-haves, buy good quality.
The dress we chose for the events of Rome is from a Dutch brand, which stands out for photographic prints without losing a feminine style (which often happens when it comes to photographic prints; in fact they are often casual wears ). This Jottum dress purchased on Nickis.com is special: flamingos, pink, tulle that make the skirt fit sooooo gorgeous. The back of the neck is enriched by a very cute bow. Just look at the pictures, taken during our staying at Hotel Ripa Roma! Sissi was comfortable and happy and the dress is really scenic, don’t you think?
In our cart we added two pink, summer and passepartout, tops: one from Billieblush with cute micro and colorful pompons and the other is from Ralph Lauren with broderie anglaise.
We also took advantage for the back to school with Zadig et Voltaire Kids’ long sleeve striped tee and Vingino slim (soft and super skinny and elastic) jeans.
And dulcis in fundo there is another piece of Karl Lagerfeld Kids‘ SS17 collection: the white tee with Karl and Choupette is finished with silver plated stitches. And it’s a must. Do you remember what we chose at the beginning of the season? Well, even that tee is now on sales!
