Since first time I visited Pitti Bimbo, 8 editions ago, I have noticed an evolution: Pitti Bimbo has become a real platform of trends, increasingly attentive to research, to a fashion that becomes global thanks to the participations of many international brands.

Next to the classic Apartment sections, with its contemporary luxury, Ecoethic, Sport Generation, SuperStreet, are flanked by the research and experimentation of KidzFizz, the lifestyle & the pop design of Fancy Room, the selection of independent brands of The Nest.

The 86th edition of Pitti Bimbo sees the launch of a new section #ACTIVELAB. It looks much like KidszFizz for international, research and innovative character, but its footprint is street and sport. At the Cavaniglia Studio – an area expressly dedicated in Cavaniglia Pavilion – a playfully gritty layout welcomes a selection of international brands in sportswear, urban and activewear. The brands’ names: Akido, Bangbang Copenhagen Aps, Barn of monkeys, Booso, Carlijnq, Duukies Beachsocks, Gardner and the Gang, How to Kiss a Frog Stockholm, Jborn Kids, kids on the Moon, Kukukid, Loud apparel, Lucky No. 7, Oji, Tom Joule and Wheat.
