592 collections, 393 of which from abroad (66% of the total), 176 among new and return brands.Plus: 5,350 buyers (2,450 of which from abroad) and a total of 10,000 visitors at the last summer edition. These are the figures for Pitti Bimbo, a privileged observatory for learning about the latest ideas in children’s fashion and lifestyles which maps the constantly evolving fashion industry that, in June, will be launching the big innovation of the new The Kid’s Lab! project.
Alongside this new dimension and with an increasingly precise segmentation, Pitti Bimbo will showcase designer labels and established brands – another great novelty is the participation of the Armani Group with the junior line of Emporio Armani, alongside the participation of other big names in children’s fashion – passing through the sartorial vocation of Apartment, the dynamism of Sport Generation and the urban soul of Superstreet in order to arrive at the increasingly important and broad lifestyle planet which is enlivened by the pop design of Fancy Room and the Editorials that explore – each time in a surprising way – a series of complementary wardrobe trends through curious objects, accessories and furnishing elements. An unmissable rendezvous for buyers from big department stores, boutiques, concept stores, the best e-commerce sites, independent stores and all those who work with the increasingly across-the-board planet of kids’ collections.
The Pitti Special Click: the theme of Pitti Bimbo 89
The Pitti Special Click is the theme of Pitti Bimbo 89: this leitmotif synthesizes the energy that circulates around the Fortezza and suddenly finds a direction: so the Main Forecourt of the Fortezza da Basso will once again be transformed through a set design curated by life-styler Sergio Colantuoni. The new advertising campaign for Pitti Bimbo and the other Pitti Immagine summer fairs has been photographed by Emilio Tini, the talented Italian photographer and author of projects for the most important fashion brands.
