“I got the inspiration when watching animal planet. Everything already existing on earth is so magical and weird. ”(Cassandra Rhodin, founder and designer Mini Rodini)
Mini Rodini SS19 Tropical Island is not a nostalgic collection. It has a modern silhouette and is full of stylish bold colour combinations.
In spring summer 2017 collection – Isola Bella – the idea was to mix different
prints in an eccentric mix. With SS19 collection the idea is to cool down the intense colour prints with basics or denim to create a stylish look or go the opposite direction with the styling by wearing the same print head to toe for a maximal look.
The general feeling of Mini Rodini SS19 collection is very dreamy. The whole collection is inspired by escapism, lazy summer days spent daydreaming and fantasising and it’s a kind of tropical fantasy.
What you buy matters: Mini Rodini, leader brand in sustainability
Sustainability is in the DNA of Mini Rodini from the beginning of its history.
Nowadays, Mini Rodini collections include over 99 % products made from sustainable materials: they are non-conventional materials that have a lower impact on nature and human health, such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, and Modal®.
Moreover, Mini Rodini is a brand that never uses leather, skin, fur or
feathers. In 2016 Mini Rodini started a Living Wage project, where they researched living wage estimates in the factories they source from. They worked out a system to fill in the gaps and made sure the wages not only covered basic needs, but would also cover personal development as
well as the ability to make some savings.
