Zadig & Voltaire Kids SS18: a rock-mantic kids outfit in a urban circus

We love urban looks. Sissi always lived in the city, moreover she is accustomed to travel mainly in metropolitan destinations, so she really loves this style. Lately, however, she wants to wear often dresses, it’s a part of her (innate) femininity that must necessarily coexist with her 6-years-old life.

For an afternoon of skating immersed in the first shy spring sun of Rome, in the cool location of Colosseo Quadrato (in EUR zone in Rome), we chose a total look Zadig & Voltaire Kids, from the current spring/summer 2018 collection.

More than ever, the spring/summer 2018 collection of Zadig & Voltaire is focused on freedom, casualness and music: the result? A Rock-mantic kids outfit, where rock mood (iconic for the brand, even in adult collections) plays with sweetness and delicacy: the dress chosen, despite the very rock print, has a feminine line, a fluttering fabric – viscose – that makes every little girl dreaming (and that recalls the iconic models of the brand in the collection for women) and flounces, ruffles, pleats and lace. Sneakers (mums, pay attention because they are also in women’s collection but kids’ sneakers arrive until number 39!!!) are entirely made of leather, Made in Portugal, a guarantee of excellent quality and perfect craftsmanship.

The print of the dress celebrates the Urban Circus, with the drawings of Virginia Elwood, a well-known New Yorker tattoo artist, make skeleton magicians and fairy tale tigers dance amongst the floral patterns and restyle army pieces for an exclusive capsule. The shirt, in military green cotton drill with a classic model, becomes the perfect garment for spring, never banal and with a feminine touch thanks to the embroidery.
