MAA SHOES REVIEW

E’ da tempo che volevo scrivere la review di queste scarpe e finalmente eccola qui! It’s a long time that I wanted to write a review about these shoes and finally here it is!

Una piccola premessa: sono nata nel primo distretto calzaturiero italiano (Fermano-Maceratese) in cui si collocano più di 5000 calzaturifici di tutte le dimensioni, tra cui colossi come Tod’s, Prada, Naturino, Melania, Gallucci, Paciotti, per citarne alcuni. Come ingegnere ho avuto come clienti anche industriali calzaturieri, per cui conosco il settore, il buon design, la passione e la qualità con cui vengono realizzate le scarpe nel nostro Paese. Però ho anche vissuto vari anni in Spagna, a Valencia, e conosco bene Alicante, a un passo da Villena (il cuore dell’industria calzaturiera per bambini), dove dal 2001 ha sede la Tritex Corporation s.l. che produce le linee MAA (con i modelli più urban e trendy) e Manuela de Juan (più calssiche ed eleganti). Ho acquistato queste sneaker per Sissi qualche mese fa dallo store online Fourmonkeys, principalmente innamorata del design e della combinazione di colori (grigio/fucsia) che mi sembrava molto adatta alla stagione ed agli abiti di Sissi. Nella descrizione avevo letto che erano di vera pelle morbidissima con la suola in gomma e cercando un po’ nel web avevo scoperto che sono scarpe molto amate dai divi di Hollywood (anche se questo non ha affatto influenza sulle mie scelte, dato che prediligo sempre lo stile proprio all’emulazione di queste star). Arrivate a casa capisco perchè sono tanto amate… la pelle sa di pelle, ha l’odore del cuoio, quello buono, di una volta. Ed è morbidissima. MAI vista una pelle così morbida, davvero MAI. E vi confesserò che sono una vera amante delle scarpe ed ho marchi di ogni genere, tra i quali anche alcuni di vero lusso, e lo stesso vale per Sissi: nessuna scarpa ha questa morbidezza! I bought these sneakers for Sissi few months ago from the online store of Fourmonkeys, mainly in love with the design and color scheme (gray/pink) which I thought was very suitable to the season and to the clothes of Sissi. In the description I had read that they were in real soft leather with a rubber sole and looking a bit on the web I found that shoes are very popular among Hollywood stars (although this by no means influences my choices, since I always prefer our own style than emulate the style of these stars). When the parcel arrive home I understand why they are so loved… the leather is real leather, has the smell of leather, the good one, once. And it is very soft. NEVER seen a leather so soft , really NEVER. And I confess that I am a true lover of shoes and I have all kinds of brands, among them some true luxury, and the same goes for Sissi: but no shoe has this softness!

Le ha praticamente indossate quasi ogni giorno ed ora, quando la loro stagione è quasi terminata, sono abbastanza vissute, ma non rovinate. Sono ancora morbidissime. La suola in cuoio e tessuto Sanitized sono ancora praticamente nuove. Il piedino non è mai stato sudato. Lacci intercambiabili comodissimi (anche se devo ammettere che quelli neri non li ho mai usati, finora), zip laterale resistente, ben fatta ed utilissima per i cambi pannolino al volo. She has practically worn them almost every day and now, when their season is almost over, they are pretty experienced , but not ruined. They are still very soft . The leather sole with Sanitized fabric are still practically new. Her feett were never sweaty. Interchangeable laces very useful (although I must admit that those blacks I’ve never used, so far), side zip durable, well made and very useful for diaper changes on the go.

Prima di dare spazio alle foto, vorrei aggiungere che queste sì che sono scarpe! E non solo da bambino, perchè quasi tutti i modelli arrivano al numero 41. Ecco il loro shop online… Inoltre dato che tra qualche mese sarò ad Alicante, chissà mai che riesca anche a fare un salto a Villena? Che ne dite?
