[one_half]Il primo aspetto che mi piace del brand di cui voglio parlarvi è proprio questo: design, quello studiato bene e realizzato da due architetti (donne), che si fonde con una tradizione di manifattura curata come quella spagnola.

[one_half]Motoreta ha le sua radici in Andalucia, a Sevilla, e le “mamme” di questo brand (e dei propri bimbi, di 7 -gemelli- e 4 anni) sono María Llerena e Cristina López-Lago. Un master in Innovación en Arquitectura, Tecnología y Diseño, il perfezionarsi nel mondo della moda, gli anni di lavoro nel design, hanno portato Maria e Cristina a debuttare nel luglio 2013 a Playtime Paris con una collezione intitolata “At home”.

Perchè ci piace Motoreta?

Le stampe: mai banali, mai ovvie. Anche le righe o i pois assumono una dimensione diversa, un punto di vista che valorizza l’abbigliamento da bambino.

Le linee: pulite, moderne. Eppure spunta quel dettaglio particolare, che fa la differenza: un volant, un collo, un taschino.

La qualità dei materiali e della manifattura: materiali ricercati per garantire un’eccellente qualità e capi realizzati bene. Sembra ovvio ma purtroppo nel childrenswear non sempre è così: in Motoreta troviamo cuciture ben rifinite, orli perfetti, zip a scomparsa, colletti mossi ma non “storti”…

Made in Spain: sorvolando il fatto che aver vissuto per 4 anni in Spagna mi lega inevitabilmente a questo Paese, in un momento di crisi economica, Maria e Cristina hanno deciso di giocare in casa e di affidarsi al know-how radicato nel loro territorio, una strategia imprenditoriale giusta e senza dubbio vincente.

Why do we like Motoreta?

Prints: never dull, never obvious. Even lines or dots are a different dimension, from a perspective that valorise ​​childrenswear.

Lines: clean, modern. That particular detail appears and makes the difference: a frill, a collar, a pocket.

The quality of materials and manufacturing: refined materials to ensure excellent quality and well made garments. It seems obvious but in childrenswear it is not always so: in Motoreta you find well finished seams, perfect edges, hidden zip closure, collars moved but not “crooked” …

Made in Spain: flying over the fact that I lived for four years in Spain and I’m inevitably linked to this, in a time of economic crisis, Maria and Cristina have decided to “play at home” and rely on the expertise rooted in their territory, a business strategy right and undoubtedly successful.
