Di solito comincio sempre il mio viaggio attraverso il Pitti Bimbo proprio dalla sezione Apartment: un luogo magico, negli spazi del Lyceum, ogni volta allestiti con maestria dalla designer Ilaria Marelli. Apartment ospita pochi marchi contemporanei, all’avanguardia, dallo stile internazionale e dalla visione moderna.

Quest’anno, invece, il mio Pitti Bimbo è terminato con la visita alla sezione Apartment. In tutta onestà, ho per un attimo avuto un dubbio se tornare a casa: ero un po’ influenzata, stanca… ma non potevo non visitare Pale Cloud, non potevo non ammirare dal vivo la collezione autunno/inverno 2015, al suo lancio proprio a Firenze. Lo sforzo è valso la pena.

Usually I always start my journey through Pitti Bimbo from Apartment section: a magical place in the Lyceum, always masterfully prepared by designer Ilaria Marelli. Apartment houses few contemporary and cutting-edge brands with an international style and a modern vision.

This year, however, my Pitti Bimbo ended with a visit to Apartment. In all honesty, I briefly had a doubt whether to go home: I was a little sick and tired… but I had to visit Pale Cloud, I had to see live their fall/winter 2015 collection, at its launch just in Florence. The effort was worth it.

Sul finire della giornata, in un’apparente tranquillità, ho fatto capolino al Lyceum, ho ammirato l'”Atlas“, quello splendido salotto un po’ barocco immerso in tante antiche carte geografiche, e poi mi sono diretta automaticamente verso la seconda porticina a destra, quella che si affaccia sull’universo di Pale Cloud.

At the end of the day, in an apparent tranquility, I peeped at the Lyceum, I admired the “Atlas”, that wonderful Baroque living room with many old maps, and then I directed automatically to the second door on the right, the one that faces the universe of Pale Cloud.

Come ogni anno Marion (la creative designer) e suo marito Ian Reynolds, accolgono tutti con gentilezza, pacatezza, con un sorriso educato. Ti viene voglia di sussurrare nella stanza di Pale Cloud, un tono di voce troppo alto sembrerebbe quasi disturbare l’arte che Marion sapientemente riporta nelle proprie creazioni. Arte nei modelli, nelle stampe, nel design, nei materiali: Marion è una vera creativa, una di quelle donne che ammiri profondamente. Mi guida l’istinto, mi guida la pelle, mi guida una vena di romantica empatia (e non mi sbaglio – quasi – mai): Marion è sempre bella, chic, nei modi e nell’aspetto, sa comprendere la moda (per bambini) a fondo, intelligente e sorridente, modesta e simpatica quando potrebbe essere (a ragione) altezzosa e superba.

Lo affermo perchè stavolta ho potuto fare una bella chiacchierata con Marion, una lunga chiacchierata: sulla moda, sull’abbigliamento per bambini, sulle tendenze. Da cliente del marchio, le ho potuto riportare le mie impressioni sui capi, sui materiali, sulla loro cura: ho avuto consigli, quasi da mamma a mamma. E poi ho avuto il vero onore di poter ammirare la collezione guidata da Marion in persona, che mi ha spiegato capo per capo, materiali, abbinamenti…

As every year, Marion (creative designer) and her husband Ian Reynolds, welcome everyone with kindness, calmness, with a polite smile. In the room of Pale Cloud you just want to whisper, too high voice would seem almost disturbing the art that Marion cleverly shows in her creations. Art in models, in prints, in designs, materials: Marion is a real creative, one of those women you admire deeply. Instinct guides me, “skin” guides me, a vein of romantic empathy (and I’m not mistaken – almost – never) guides me: Marion is always beautiful, chic, in manner and appearance, she understands children’s fashion deeply, she’s intelligent and smiling, modest and nice when she might be (rightly) haughty and arrogant.

I say this because this time I was able to have a nice chat with Marion, a long chat: on fashion, on children’s clothes, on trends. As customer, I could bring my impressions on garments, on materials, on their care: I had advices from her, almost “from mom to mom”. And then I had the great honor to be able to admire the collection led by Marion in person, who explained me article by article, materials, matches…

Questa collezione è più colorata, più luminosa, più “allegra” in qualche maniera. I capi sono splendidi (come sempre) ed accanto ai classici modelli, come quelli degli abiti con cintura in vita in seta e crepe di seta, troverete anche modelli più easy come t-shirt. Ogni singolo capo può incontrare il mood che volete: da rock a elegantissimo, tenendo ben ferma la qualità dei materiali e della manifattura e la cura dei dettagli.

This collection is more colorful, brighter, more “cheerful” in some way. The clothes are beautiful (as usual) and next to the classic models, such as silk and crepe dresses with waist belt, you’ll also find models more easy as t-shirts. Every single garment can meet the mood you want: from rock to elegant, holding steady the quality of materials and workmanship and attention to details.

Io continuerò a comprare Pale Cloud. Magari approfittando dei saldi, ma continuerò ad acquistare per la mia bimba questo daily couture. Sì: a tanti che me lo chiedono, rispondo che i miei post su Pale Cloud non sono sponsorizzati: acquisto Pale Cloud e lo faccio volentieri, anche a scapito di qualche altro big brand. E sono soddisfatta. Quindi, potete fidarvi!

I will continue to buy Pale Cloud. Perhaps taking advantage of sales, but I will continue to buy for my little girl this “daily couture”.
