Playtime Paris 19th edition – trends and sneak peaks

Cosa ci aspetta a Parigi?

IT. Nelle passate edizioni avete sempre seguito con vivissimo interesse i miei resoconti a caldo, direttamente sui social, di quello che più mi colpisce durante Playtime e oggi voglio raccontarvi qualche anticipazione per la prossima stagione autunno inverno 2016/17 dalla fiera che più tra tutte abbraccia l’universo del bambino: dalla pancia della mamma, fino all’arredo ed agli accessori, Playtime Paris è sempre cool, internazionale, all’avanguardia.

In the past editions you always followed with intense interest my reports, directly on socials, about what strikes me most during Playtime and today I want to give you a sneak peak for next autumn winter 2016/17 season from this exhibition that embraces better children’s universe: from mother’s belly to decor and accessories, Playtime Paris is always cool, international, cutting edge.

La sezione di Children’s Fashion accoglie più di 350 marchi tra abbigliamento, scarpe ed accessori, dei quali in questa 19esima edizione circa il 20% saranno new entries. Centrandosi proprio sulle matricole del Playtime Paris, mi sento assolutamente di segnalarvi (perchè sono già sulla mia agenda) alcuni marchi da seguire, da studiare, da ricordare: alcuni li conosciamo già perchè li abbiamo già acquistati, vissuti, lavati, usati e ne siamo rimaste davvero contente, altri vogliamo scoprirli perchè sentiamo quelle cosiddette “buone vibrazioni” a cui non possiamo non cedere!

Children’s Fashion section welcomes more than 350 brands of clothing, shoes and accessories, and in this 19th edition about 20% will be new entries. Centering on these “first timers” at Playtime Paris, I would absolutely tell you (because I have already them on my agenda) some brands to follow, to study, to remember: I already know some of them because we have already purchased, lived, washed and used remaining very happy, but I also want to discover others because I have this so-called “good vibe” that makes me feel I will find something gorgeous…

Interessantissima la sezione Home & Babygear, con più di 90 marchi tra giochi, arredo e decorazione, tessili e passeggini, che tornano in questa edizione.

Very interesting Home & Babygear section, with more than 90 brands including toys, furniture and decoration, textile and strollers, that return in this edition.

La sezione Maternity presenta circa 40 brands che si occupano delle pance: abbigliamento ed accessori per rendere più confortevole e sicuramente molto fashion l’attesa.

Maternity section has about 40 brands that deal with bellies: clothing and accessories to make it more comfortable and certainly very fashion.

Fin dalla mia prima visita a Playtime, uno degli spazi che ho amato di più è il Crea.tif space in cui illustratori e graphic designer espongono le loro creazioni e in cui si creano davvero sinergie: quelle grazie alle quali nascono le collezioni che tanto amiamo o quelle stampe che poi ci appassionano tanto!

Since my first visit to Playtime, one of the areas that I loved the most is the Crea.tif space in which illustrators and graphic designers display their creations and where you actually create synergies: thanks to these synergies the collections that we love so much or those prints that we enjoy so much are born!

E poi tanti eventi paralleli, come i Milk Awards, la presentazione dell’ultimo numero di Doolittle, l’esclusiva installazione fotografica tratta dal film ‘Papier Mache Loves’ di Papier Mache o Kid’s Wear che presenta il geniale universo delle illustrazioni dell’artista Elsa Dray Farges.

Ogni anno Playtime seleziona un artista per illustrare le sue fiere a Parigi, Tokyo e New York. In questa edizione vedremo la seconda ed ultima collaborazione con l’illustratrice francese Anne Laval, che ci fa scoprire i suoi poetici e delicati paesaggi dal punto di vista di questa stagione invernale.

Many parallel events, such as Milk Awards, the presentation of the latest issue of Doolittle, the unique photographic installation from the film ‘Papier Mache Loves‘ by Papier Mache or Kid‘s Wear featuring the brilliant world of illustrations by the artist Elsa Dray Farges.

Playtime annually selects an artist to illustrate its exhibitions in Paris, Tokyo and New York. In this edition we will see the second and last collaboration with the French illustrator Anne Laval, which makes us discover her poetic and delicate landscapes from the point of view of this winter season.
