Playtime Paris è stata davvero una bellissima scoperta.

Credo che mai un nome sia più giusto per definire un evento: a Playtime è davvero “time to play”, il bambino é il reale centro di questa fiera che esplora il mondo dei piccoli a 360 gradi.

Playtime Paris was truly a wonderful discovery.

I believe that a single name be ever more just to define an event: Playtime is really “time to play”, the child is the real center of this exhibition that explores the world of children to 360 degrees.

[one_half]È anzitutto una fiera “democratica“, dove tutti gli stands hanno (più o meno) lo stesso peso, anche se ho avuto l’impressione che piuttosto che la grandezza degli stands contasse molto l’ubicazione.
Playtime accoglie principalmente kidswear (inteso come abbigliamento e scarpe), ma c’è anche una buona quantità di espositori dedicati agli accessori, oltre a due sezioni dedicate interamente al maternity ed al design e deco.
Il 90% dei marchi che compro per Sissi e che adoro per stile, mood e filosofia erano presenti proprio a Playtime, quindi davvero sono stata molto contenta di ammirare le collezioni autunno/inverno 2015-16. Ovviamente ho fatto tante nuove scoperte ed incontri, oltre che incontrare marchi (e persone) che già erano presenti al Pitti e che ho ritrovato con piacere anche a Playtime…

Molti hanno ammirato le foto in diretta (o quasi, connessione permettendo) da Parigi su Twitter ed Instagram (per praticità, rapidità e modestia – dato che sono ben lungi dall’essere una fotografa professionista – ho deciso di portare con me solo l’IPhone6): ecco un riassunto dei trends, che riflettono un po’ quelli del Pitti Bimbo, per il prossimo autunno/inverno. Ovviamente non troverete queste collezioni nei negozi prima di fine agosto 2015, ma intanto potete trarre spunto per fare qualche acquisto “furbo” negli ultimissimi saldi…

Tulle – ancora sempre lui, il tulle, l’amico delle bambine, quello che le rende principesse e che (ammettiamolo) fa sognare anche un po’ noi mamme…

It is above all a “democratic” fair, where all the stands have (more or less) the same weight, although I got the impression that rather than the size of the stands mattered the location.
Playtime mainly includes kidswear (defined as clothing and shoes), but there is also a good amount of exhibitors dedicated to accessories, as well as two sections devoted entirely to maternity and design and deco.
90% of the brands that I normally buy for Sissi and I love for style, mood and philosophy were just at Playtime, so I was really happy to admire their Fall/Winter 2015-16 collections. Obviously I made many new discoveries and encounters, as well as meet the brands (and people) that were already present at Pitti and I found with pleasure also at Playtime …

Many of you have admired the photos “live” (or almost live, wi-fi permitting) from Paris on Twitter and Instagram (for convenience, speed and modesty – since I’m far from being a professional photographer – I decided to take with me only iPhone6) and here is a summary of trends, which reflect a bit those of Pitti Bimbo, for next autumn/winter. Obviously you will not find these collections in stores before the end of August 2015, but in the meantime you can be inspired to do some “smart” shopping in the last days of sales…

Tulle – yet and always, tulle, the best friend of  every little girl, that makes them feeling like princesses and (let’s face it) makes us (the mums) dream a little…[/one_half_last]

Colore – è inverno, ma i bambini amano il colore, dal fluo ai colori speziati, dal monocolore al color-blocks al colore con le stampe (magari di animali)…

Color – it’s winter, but kids love colors, from fluo to spicy colors, from monochrome to color-blocks and color with prints (better if animals)…

Giacchine quilted – per le bambine, giacchine in cotone leggermente imbottite e trapuntate, con stampe liberty o monocolore… le ho viste un po’ ovunque e le adoro!

Quilted jackets – for girls, cotton jackets slightly padded and quilted, with liberty prints or monochrome… I saw a them everywhere and I love them!
