Non sono impazzita, ma per chi ancora non lo sapesse, gli stivali in montone più famosi non sono nati in un clima freddo, sebbene sia questo l’utilizzo principale che tutti diamo a queste scarpe.
TARTAN AND GREY OUTFIT: lo scozzese per i bambini
Happy Epiphany to everybody! And while we’ll be intent on enjoying the sweets left in socks by the old happy lady (la Befana, in the Italian tradition), I want to show you a festive outfit, but not too much festive, also suitable for school or for a walk with mom and dad! We passed this holiday season mostly at home, since we spent 99% of the holiday… being sick! I can not decide the center piece of this look: on the one hand there are tartan pants (must-season) with red background and a “true trousers” cut, with zip pocket, but with all the comfort of a leggings; on the other side there is the gray shirt in silk and cotton, with the neck in crepe de chine in lighter gray and gold buttons on the neck and cuffs. I would say that the two items complement each other, style and color are combined in an excellent manner, and also for cost: the pants, from Zara Kids, amortize the cost of the shirt, from Pale Cloud. A note on Zara Kids’ sales: I hate Zara Kids’ sales. Perhaps it is a reminiscence of when I lived in Spain and people were lined up in front of Zara on the first day of the sales and, after just 10 minutes, it was impossible to get close to a stand and understanding which items you were taking because it looked like after an urugano… but then I had no children. Now I do not like the sales in Zara Kids, apart from the clutter and confusion, for the run out almost immediately of sizes and for the discounts, which often is not even 50%. Also I can not find a large savings in pay pants from € 14.95 to € 9.99: those 5 € discount are not worth dealing overflowing parking lots, eternal queues at the checkout, chaos and confusion. Rather I buy online. Or, as I did this year, I buy only what I really like before Christmas… That said, I must say that the pants and leggings from Zara Kids, in size 3-4 years, fits very well my little girl: they are sufficiently adherent, fit well on the leg, have the right waist (not too low – unbearable for a child – neither too high – unwatchable for mom), wash well and above withstand repeated washings. They are items that I buy from Zara Kids really happy (paying maybe a little attention to the composition and preferring those in 100% cotton). We complete this tartan and gray look with a cotton cardigan by Stella McCartney Kids, with the placket highlighted in electric blue, socks from Calzedonia Kids and Ugg boots in black. E mentre saremo intenti a gustare i dolcetti lasciati nelle calze dall’allegra vecchietta, voglio mostrarvi un outfit festivo, ma non troppo, adatto anche alla scuola o ad una passeggiata con mamma e papà! Per noi questi giorni di festa sono stati piuttosto casalinghi, dato che abbiamo passato il 99% delle vacanze… ammalati!

ANOTHER DAY IN GRAY
Anche oggi di nuovo in grigio! Ci è proprio piaciuto vedere tanto grigio al Pitti Bimbo, è un colore che mi piace molto, anche se penso che per i bambini va sempre un po’ “sdrammatizzato”. Ecco allora che oggi abbiniamo tutti toni di grigio scuro: dalla blusa di Armani Baby, ai leggings di Zara Kids. Anche il cardigan con zip di Bonnie Baby è grigio (più chiaro), ma è ravvivato dalle volpine, ed il tocco di colore lo dà il Radiant Orchid (è il colore del 2014: hai letto qui?) delle nostre UGG! A colore anche i calzini, panna, col fiocco lilla, di Calzedonia Kids. Here then is that today we match all shades of dark gray: from the blouse from Armani Baby to the leggings from Zara Kids. The cardigan with zip from Bonnie Baby is gray (lighter), but it is revived by the foxes, and the touch of color is given by the Radiant Orchid (it’s the color of the year 2014: did you read here?) of our UGG boots! Same color even for the socks, cream, with a lilac bow, from Calzedonia Kids.

Oggi giornata piena di impegni: abbiamo un salto dal nostro negozio di scarpe preferito (stay tuned, presto uno speciale tutto su questo brand) ed abbiamo irrimediabilmente comprato… credo che Sissi diventerà (o forse già lo è?) una shoes-addicted come me! Aiutoooo! Poi un po’ di spesa (eh sì, dovremmo pur mangiare, no?)… poi riposino ed ora ci prepariamo per una bella cenetta fuori con gli amici! Today, busy day: we have gone to our favorite shoe store (stay tuned, soon a special all about this brand) and we irrevocably bought … I think Sissi become (or maybe she already is?) a shoes-addicted like me! Help! Then to the supermarket (yes, we got to eat, right?) … then nap and now we are getting ready for a nice dinner out with friends!

Il sole ci accompagna anche oggi, abbiamo deciso di fare una passeggiata breve e abbiamo scelto un look allegro, tutto sui toni del viola-fucsia-lilla. E’ facile abbinare questa blusa di Burberry con il cardigan Zara Kids e i leggings di Fendi. Anche i calzini di Calzedonia Kids sono in tono. E ovviamente questo outfit è perfetto per le nostre UGG, che ne dite?
The sun is with us today, we decided to take a short walk and we chose a cheerful look, all in shades of purple-pink-lilac. Oggi io (mamma) ho un umore un po’ nero, che per fortuna Sissi non ha copiato! L’inizio del nuovo anno è un po’ pesante: bisogna decidere bene verso dove indirizzare e focalizzare le proprie energie e non sempre è così facile… ad ogni modo basta un sorriso della mia tesorina a cambiare l’umore da nero a… beh, almeno a grigio! Perciò siamo uscite a passeggiare un pochino al sole… Today I (mom) have a black mood, and Sissi fortunately did not copy it! The beginning of the new year is a bit heavy: you have to decide where to direct towards and focus your energies and it is not always so easy … anyway just a smile of my little treasure to change the mood from black to … well, at least to gray! So we went out for a short walk in the sun …
