ANOTHER DAY IN GRAY

Anche oggi di nuovo in grigio! Ci è proprio piaciuto vedere tanto grigio al Pitti Bimbo, è un colore che mi piace molto, anche se penso che per i bambini va sempre un po’ “sdrammatizzato”. Even today, again in gray! I liked so much to see  a lot of gray at Pitti Bimbo, it is a color that I really like, although I think that for children should always be a bit ‘”toned down”.

Ecco allora che oggi abbiniamo tutti toni di grigio scuro: dalla blusa di Armani Baby, ai leggings di Zara Kids. Anche il cardigan con zip di Bonnie Baby è grigio (più chiaro), ma è ravvivato dalle volpine, ed il tocco di colore lo dà il Radiant Orchid (è il colore del 2014: hai letto qui?) delle nostre UGG! A colore anche i calzini, panna, col fiocco lilla, di Calzedonia Kids. Here then is that today we match all shades of dark gray: from the blouse from Armani Baby to the leggings from Zara Kids. The cardigan with zip from Bonnie Baby is gray (lighter), but it is revived by the foxes, and the touch of color is given by the Radiant Orchid (it’s the color of the year 2014: did you read here?) of our UGG boots! Same color even for the socks, cream, with a lilac bow, from Calzedonia Kids.

GRAY OUTFIT

Buongiorno! Good morning!

Normalmente odio il lunedì, ma devo dire che questa giornata è cominciata molto bene, con il sole e con allegria… nonostante ciò oggi l’outfit è tutto nei toni del grigio! Normally I hate Mondays , but I have to say that this day started very well, with the sun and fun … despite what today ‘s outfit is all in shades of gray!

UNISEX OUTFIT

Buonasera! Good evening!

Oggi è stato una giornata di ultimi preparativi: ultimi acquisti, ultimi regali, un giretto in centro a salutare il nonno e il DIN DON… poi nel pomeriggio la sessione di foto natalizie dal fotografo (con l’outfit di domani, che amiamo moltissimo)… Today was a day of final preparations : last purchases , last gifts , a walk to the city center to greet the grandfather and our friend DIN DON … then in the afternoon session of Christmas photos from the photographer (with the outfit of tomorrow , which we love very much) …

Per una giornata così intensa il look di Sissi doveva essere easy, comodo, morbido… la felpa della nuova collezione di Mini Rodini è morbidissima, di un cotone organico caldo ma sottile, noi abbiamo scelto un colore non molto semplice da abbinare perchè è un beige abbastanza caldo (l’altro colore disponibile era blu). In realtà si abbina molto bene con il blu, che sia il blu dei jeans (come in questo outfit qui) o di questi splendidi pantaloni di Burberry in cotone pesante ma morbido come una felpa, mi sembra che questo sia il migliore abbinamento per questa felpa! I calzini di Calzedonia Kids sono perfettamente in tono. Il tocco di colore (e di femminilità) lo danno gli stivaletti UGG: per il resto questo outfit è perfettamente unisex! For a such intense day the look of Sissi was supposed to be easy , comfortable, soft … the sweater from new collection of Mini Rodini is very soft, in organic cotton, warm but thin, we chose a color not very easy to match because it is a warm beige (the other color available was blue). In fact, it matches very well with the blue, with the blue of the jeans (like in this outfit here) or with the blue of these gorgeous trousers from Burberry in warm cotton but very soft, it seems to me that this is the best pairing for this sweatshirt! The socks from Calzedonia Kids are just perfect in the same color. The touch of color ( and femininity ) is  given by the UGG boots : apart these boots this outfit is perfectly unisex !

DENIM DRESS OUTFIT

Buongiorno! Good Morning!

Oggi ancora spese, incontri, regali… come avete visto dagli ultimi outfit in questi giorni pre-Natalizi stiamo preferendo sempre dei vestiti, sono tutti vestiti casual, easy, comodi, perchè Sissi è sì una femminuccia, ma è ancora molto piccola, quindi la parola d’ordine è comodità (anche perchè abbiamo il pannolino…)! Today it’s still a shopping day, dfull of ating, gifts … as you saw from the last outfits in these pre-Christmas days we are always preferring dresses, all of thems are casual, easy, comfortable, because Sissi is yes a girl, but it is still very small, so the key word is comfort (even because we have the diaper …)!

Oggi inauguriamo la calzamaglia di Slugs&Snails che abbiamo ordinato qualche settimana fa su LatteMama (leggi qui): semplicemente la adoriamo! E’ di un ottimo cotone bio, molto elastica (quindi non “scende” anche se abbiamo preso la taglia 2-3 anni), la fantasia è davvero simpatica ed allegra! Forse non è semplicissima da abbinare… ma noi abbiamo pensato di abbinarla con una scamiciata jeans di Liu Jo Baby, con sotto una semplice maglietta bianca di Zara Kids. Come scarpe? Ma i nostri splendidi stivaletti UGG! Sissi li ama: morbidi, caldi, il piedino non suda… Today we inaugurate the Slugs & Snails tights we ordered a few weeks ago on LatteMama (read here): simply adore it! They are made by a great organic cotton, very elastic (don’t go “down” even if we bought size 2-3 years), the print is really nice and cheerful! Perhaps it is not easy to match … but we thought we would pair it with a jeans dress from Liu Jo Baby, with under a simple white T-shirt from Zara Kids. As shoes? But our wonderful UGG boots! Sissi loves them: soft, warm, the foot does not sweat …

MOLO DRESS OUTFIT

Buongiorno!  Good Morning!

Oggi comincia la corsa all’ultimo regalo, la spesa di Natale (vogliamo cucinare noi, da vere appassionate), vogliamo però anche passare del tempo insieme, approfittare per consegnare i regali a parenti e amici… inoltre abbiamo tanti post in bozza su novità e cose carine trovate nel nostro viaggio… insomma, il tempo si dovrebbe moltiplicare almeno… per quattro! 😉 Today begins the race at the last gift, the Christmas shopping (we cook by ourselves, as real passionate), but also want to spend time together , take the opportunity to deliver gifts to family and friends … we also have many posts in draft of new and nice things we found in our journey … In short, we should multiply the time at least … for four ! 😉

Oltre a tutto questo, stasera abbiamo anche una cena con l’amichetta preferita di Sissi: si conoscono da quando erano nella pancia!  Besides all this, tonight we have a dinner with Sissi‘s  favorite friend: they know when they were in the belly !

L’outfit è carino, femminile, ma semplice e comodo: la cena è a casa della nostra amichetta e sicuramente finiremo tutti a giocare per terra! Quindi sì al vestito allegro con la fantasia autunnale di Molo Kids: adoro questo vestito ed anche Sissi! Non solo per tutti i suoi animaletti del bosco ed i colori splendidi, ma anche e soprattutto per la qualità del cotone e per la comodità: è molto elasticizzato e quindi si adatta perfettamente ad ogni movimento, anche il più “atletico”! Inoltre è un cotone caldo e quindi per una cena in casa non c’è bisogno di altro. Abbiniamo una calzamaglia di Monsoon in caldo cotone rosa e gli stivaletti UGG e siamo a posto! The outfit is cute, feminine, yet simple and easy: the dinner is at the home of our little friend and certainly will end with everybody playing on the floor! So yes to the dress with the autumn print from Molo Kids: I love this dress and also Sissi ! Not only for all its animals of the forest and gorgeous colors, but also for the quality of cotton and for comfort : it is very elastic, so it fits perfectly with every movement , even the most ” athletic ” ! It is also a warm cotton and then for a dinner at home you do not need anything else. We combine a warm cotton tights in pink  from Monsoon and UGG boots and we’ll get it !

Un consiglio: portiamo in borsa dei calzini antiscivolo, natalizi, un paio per Sissi ed uno per la sua amichetta… così quando decideranno di giocare per terra, togliamo gli stivaletti e stiamo comode comode! Che ne dite? A tip: bring in your bag some non-slip socks , Christmassy , one for Sissi and one for her friend … so when we’ll decide to play on the floor, we’ll take off her boots and they’ll stay very comfortable ! What do you think?

SHORTS AND FOXES OUTFIT

Aiuto! Abbiamo troppe cose da fare, progetti da seguire, lavori da terminare, Natale è imminente e manca ancora qualche regalino… Help! We have too many things to do, projects to follow, work to finish, Christmas is coming and there is still some present to buy …

Un respiro profondo… e usciamo cercando di concludere il più possibile conciliando le mie incombenze di adulto con le necessità da bambina di Sissi… A deep breath … and we go out trying to finish as much as possible to reconcile my duties as adult with the needs of Sissi as child…

L’outfit oggi è femminile e caldo: abbiamo scelto di indossare gli short con quadretti rosa e bianchi in lana di Chicco, la t-shirt panna di Burberry, il cardigan in cotone con zip di Bonnie Baby con le nostre amiche volpine. La calzamaglia non è pesantissima, è in microfibra, di Calzedonia Kids, ma non mi preoccupa perchè andremo al centro commerciale, quindi staremo al chiuso. Abbiniamo gli stivaletti UGG, che devo dire mi hanno davvero sorpreso (positivamente) perchè tengono la temperatura dei piedi uniforme e non li fanno sudare: 10 e lode! The outfit is feminine and warm today: we have chosen to wear shorts with pink and white check in wool from Chicco, a cream t-shirts from Burberry, a cotton cardigan with zip from Bonnie Baby with with our friends little foxes. The tights are not heavy, made of microfiber, from Calzedonia Kids, but it does not bother me because we’re going to the mall, then we’ll be indoors. We match UGG boots, I must say that I was really surprised (positively) because they keep the temperature of her feet evenly and do not make them sweat: 10 marks!

PINK OUTFIT

Buongiorno! Good morning!

Oggi facciamo una passeggiata nel centro storico: andremo a trovare il nostro amico DIN DON (alias il campanile), faremo un giro al mercatino tipico di Natale, prenderemo un po’ di sole ed un aperitivo con nonna e papà… Today we take a walk in the historic center: we’re going to find our friend DIN DON (aka the bell tower), we will see the typical market of Christmas, we will take a little ‘sun and a drink with grandma and daddy …

Quante novità oggi! Se tutto va bene tra una settimana partiamo per un breve weekend di shopping natalizio… ma la destinazione ancora la lasciamo segreta perchè può accadere di tutto: neve, malanni, infortuni… sono un po’ scaramantica! How many news today! If all goes well in a week we’ll leave for a short weekend for Christmas shopping… but I still let the destination secret because anything can happen: snow, illnesses, injuries … are somewhat ‘superstitious!

Intanto stiamo pensando ai regali di Natale: anzitutto vogliamo decidere a chi regalare, poi decideremo cosa! Meanwhile, we are thinking about Christmas gifts: first, we want to decide to whom to give, then we’ll decide what!

Radiant Orchid Outfit

Oggi abbiamo scoperto il colore dell’anno 2014 da Pantone (hai letto qui?)… e noi, per passeggiare nel sole, abbiamo scelto un outfit che richiama un po’ questo colore. 

E poi, neanche a farlo apposta, le nuove UGG sono proprio del colore giusto! 😉

Ecco qua: semplice, comodo, femminile e colorato! Un outfit in Radiant Orchid e andiamooooooo!!!!

Today we discovered the Pantone color of the year 2014  (do you read here?) … and, to walk in the sun, we chose an outfit that draws a little this color.

And then, by sheer coincidence, the new UGG are just the right color! 😉

A FELINE OUTFIT

I preparativi per il Natale e per qualcosa di carino che bolle in pentola (ancora non riveliamo nulla per scaramanzia…) proseguono e stamattina siamo andate a fare compere natalizie e ad incontrare una nostra amica di pancia per un aperitivo! Sissi e la sua amichetta sono nate ad un mese di distanza, ma noi mamme abbiamo seguito un corso di preparazione alla nascita durato ben 4 mesi! 

L’outfit di Sissi oggi è completamente Mini Rodini: la felpa della nuova collezione Mon Cherì, con i simpatici gattini, si abbina alla perfezione come stile e come colori ai jeans animalier.

Preparations for Christmas and for something cute that I’m planning (still not reveal anything for good luck…) continue and this morning we went to do some Christmas shopping and to meet a belly friend for a drink! Sissi and her friend were born a month apart, but we (the moms) have followed a course of preparation for the birth lasted 4 months!

Sissi’s outfits today is completely from Mini Rodini: the sweater from new collection Mon Cheri, with cute kittens, matches perfectly for style and color the animal print jeans.

CHECK & FLOWER… AGAIN!

Buona domenica a tutti! Good Sunday to everybody!

Oggi abbiamo aperto la prima casellina del nostro calendario dell’avvento… e Sissi ovviamente voleva aprirle tutte subito! E’ stata una dura lotta! Today we opened the first box of our advent calendar… of course Sissi wanted to open them all at once! It was a tough fight !

Anche se la tradizione (almeno quella italiana) vuole che si cominci la decorazione della casa il giorno dell’Immacolata, 8 dicembre… noi abbiamo deciso di cominciare OGGI. Ci piace che questo PRIMO DICEMBRE cominci proprio di Domenica! Ieri abbiamo tirato fuori già gli scatoloni e selezionato cosa mettere ad “altezza Sissi” e cosa no… oggi cominceremo con l’Albero. Although the tradition (at least the Italian one) wants that you start decorating your home on the day of the Immaculate Conception, December 8th… we decided to start TODAY. We love that this year the FIRST day of December is on Sunday! Yesterday we already pulled out of the boxes and selected what to put “height Sissi” and what not … Today we’ll start with the Christmas Tree .

Anzitutto andremo al centro commerciale a prendere qualcosa per il Presepe, quindi l’outfit dovrà essere assolutamente caldo ma a strati. Abbiamo scelto le nostre nuove UGG (le vogliamo testare con la pioggia) che abbineremo con l’amato look fiori e check. I fiori sono quelli dei leggings di Zara Kids e dei calzini di Calzedonia Kids, mentre i check sono quelli che amiamo di più: Burberry! Abbiamo trovato da Zara Kids un cardigan in cotone che si abbina perfettamente ai colori del check della blusa. First of all, we’re going to the mall to get something for the crib, then the outfit will be absolutely warm but in layers. We chose our new UGG boots (we want to test them with the rain) that will match with the beloved look “flowers and check”. Flowers are those from Zara Kids leggings and socks from Calzedonia Kids, while the check are those we love the most: Burberry! We found a cardigan from Zara Kids, in cotton, that perfectly matches the colors of the check of the blouse.

NEW BOOTS FOR SISSI: UGG AUSTRALIA

Sono loro, sono arrivati direttamente dal sito online ufficiale di UGG Australia e sono arrivati in appena 4 giorni…

Sissi le ha scelte con me guardandole al PC… e così tramandiamo di madre in figlia l’assoluta passione per le scarpe!

Un po’ di storia…

Lo stivale di montone fu ideato nei primi anni ’70 da un surfista australiano, Shane Stedman: la sua idea nasceva dall’esigenza di mantenere caldi i piedi dopo aver fatto surf nelle fredde acque australiane. Nonostante ciò, è a partire dai primi anni 2000 che gli stivali UGG sono diventati un prodotto di moda e un fenomeno culturale, anche grazie al fatto che numerose star di Hollywood ne sono diventate grandi fan (Oprah Winfrey,  Kate Hudson, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz).

UGG è diventato quindi conosciutissimo per i classici stivali di montone, ma la collezione comprende anche scarpe, sandali, zeppe, pantofole, maglie, capi d’abbigliamento e borse. La pelle utilizzata è double-face, scamosciata fuori e con vello di lana di montone all’interno. Lo stivale è poroso in modo da tenere i piedi freschi in estate e caldi in inverno.

Perchè UGG Kids?

La risposta principale è una sola: sono caldi. Veramente caldi. E impermeabili.

Perchè gli originali? Ci sono tante imitazioni in giro: dal mercatino, al negozio cinese, ad altri marchi rispettabilissimi che propongono modelli simili… ma secondo me per un piedino che cammina da poco vale la pena di spendere qualcosa in più ed andare sul prodotto originale. E li abbiamo presi nel negozio ufficiale online per un semplice motivo: era l’unico ad avere ancora la taglia di Sissi (22.5 EU – 5 UK: ricordate che calzano un bel po’!) nel modello che piaceva a noi nel colore che piaceva a noi! Ed il prezzo è più onesto che quello dei negozi tradizionali!

Perchè colorati? Perchè Sissi è una bambina… e si può permette degli stivali colorati a 2 anni! Avrà tutta la vita per scegliere il nero, il marrone, il grigio, il sabbia, no? Il compito di abbinarli ai suoi outfit sarà la nostra sfida! 😉 E’ vero che è inverno, ma lei sarà calda ed allegra!
